| Sewing Circle hosted by Kate of Indudala Tribe August 19th Location: Bayou Shimmy Dance Studio Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm $3.00 Studio Donation This time we will focus on pantaloons. People can bring various projects, but my first priority as hostess will be those looking for assistance with pantaloons. For those making pantaloons, the supplies needed will be: ***4 yards of material (satin with some body or cotton preferable-- please prewash anything with cotton content to minimalize shrinkage post-production) matching thread ***2-inch elastic to fit around waist with some stretch ***1 package 1/2 or 3/8 inche elastic *Optional: 1/2 yard black cotton to make a yoke---If you want to wear the pantaloons sans skirt the yoke will be made out of the same material at the beginning, if you are always goig to wear a skirt, you can make a black yoke-- pros and cons for both---send me a message if you want to discuss options. |
